Entry: KAWEN PART 1 Friday, December 16, 2005

Its school holiday, so its the wedding season.. I called my dad and apparently he was so busy with his Marhaban group that they need to book the group 2 weeks in advance! Im proud of my dad in starting this warga emas marhaban group because now there're about 3o members and people keep calling him, wanting to join..

Dad was actually a pretty good event manager.. he has this Standard Operating procedure to call the team member, call again 2 days later to remind each of the team member... plan who are the main person to 'sing' at the marhaban (each different person everytime.. they take turn).. and then do a post-mortem of each marhaban session.. to see whether it goes as plan... hehe thats Dad! a very organized person! :)

Anyway, I went to my ex-colleague wedding in Sabak Bernam last saturday. Im not so sure where is Sabak Bernam.. Apparently, Sabak Bernam is after Kuala Selangor and it's already near to the border of Perak.. It took us nearly 3 hrs with the jam in Sungai Buluh..

It was raining heavily the night before at the groom's house, so it flooded quite a bit..

Poor them, it was supposed to be once a lifetime occasion and it flooded! ... but it turned out to be a very close and cosy event.. not too many people so we can really enjoy the time talking to the couple who just got married...

the food was a lil different and yet very nice.. very adventurous for us to try out the cow's skin prepared specially and it seems like its a typical javanese recipe..

I know both the bride and groom.. both beautiful couple.. sweet!

And they live happily ever after!
